- Syndromic reports along with our Flu and COVID Positivity % to date.We are working to validate the new Sysmex analyzer for the Core Lab, which should be live by the end of next month.Some external clinics send testing to other reference laboratories, which can result in higher bills for routine laboratory services.
- If a patient has a valid order and the test is available at Southeastern, we can perform the testing here.
- Patients who have used our laboratory instead of certain external reference labs have seen significant cost savings.
For cost estimates, patients can call- Main Lab at 910-671-5072, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- UNC Health Estimates Team at 984-215-6899, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, except for major holidays.
